The first step in making your home a healthy one should be to eliminate as many toxic substances as possible, especially toxic chemicals in cleaning products. Household cleaning products are among the most toxic substances we encounter daily. There have been several studies on this, including one study conducted over a 15 year period where women who worked at home had a 54% higher death rate from cancer than women who worked away from the home. The study concluded that the increased death rate was due to daily exposure to hazardous chemicals found in ordinary household products. Many of these chemicals have been linked to allergies, asthma, eczema, birth defects, infertility, miscarriage, central nervous system disorders, ADD, and other learning disabilities (in addition to cancer).
Fortunately, there are greener, chemical-free, affordable products making it easier for you to convert your home to a safer environment for your family. I have been very fortunate to be able to help people learn of the dangers in their home and how to eliminate them by making changes to where and how they purchase tons of products in their home! We have so many products available I can't list them all! But we can break them down into some categories! Everybody you know uses these types of products so it's very easy to get people to make the switch!
