Ever seen the movie "UP"?

On the other hand, being a distraction that commands a prospect's attention is the very thing we want to accomplish with our marketing.
Crazy, isn't it?
We do everything we can to avoid being distracted, while we work on methods to distract others.

The point is, while you must get your prospect's attention, techniques will only get you so far. You've got to keep them interested in your subject to keep them engaged.

One way is by asking questions. When you ask someone a question, they start thinking about what you asked them. They have to answer the question in their mind in order to move forward.
Another way is by using lists.

You can also talk about one of the main motivators like making more money, improving health or increasing pleasure. All of these things will keep people glued to your message like peanut butter on the roof of their mouth.
