Scentsy and Why I Love it
Hello, My name is Heather Briggs. I am an Independent Scentsy Star Consultant. I have been with Scentsy for 18 months and absolutely love what I do.
I joined Scentsy in November of 2015 after my son was born with several complicated heart defects that required many surgeries. After his first closed heart surgery, we were sent home to allow him to grow. I knew then and there that I would never want to send him to daycare. I had a daughter already who was in preschool and I hated having to leave her on the days she was not in school. I began researching every direct sales company I could find.
I had heard of Scentsy but never used it. I spoke with many different consultants and researched the compensation plan. I realized that promotions and success was obtainable. Earning the incentive trips was available to all levels in the company, I even personally knew 3 people who had earned them. I decided that it was right for me.
I began working my business, earning many top sales and incentives when I joined. I now have a team of 13 and I am striving to advance in my leadership role.
I was able to continue working my business during our 3 month stay at the hospital while my son had open heart surgery and we dealt with the complications that followed. I have continued to stay home with him as he recovered and I have been able to watch every milestone that seemed so out of reach just a year ago. He is now almost 1 year post op and is growing well and the next surgery has not been a necessity yet.
On top of the family benefits it has provided, I have been able to reach out to other people on my team. We all have a different story, and even different things we want out of Scentsy but we all face the same challenges and fears. We are able to support and encourage one another. I have made friends with wonderful women all over the country and actually feel like I belong somewhere. I feel the love my Scentsy family provides.
The owners of Scentsy are very down to earth, they truly care about each consultant and really love and support us. They are always running specials that help bring in sales and increase our commissions. The trips they offer are obtainable even as a brand new consultant!! You do not have to be a leader to go to places like Africa, Punta Cana, or Rome. They also offer free training to everyone as well as events that are local and an annual convention available to all consultants.
I stay home with my kids, have dinner ready for my husband, have made lifetime friends that love and support me, met many new people, moved my business across the country, and I love waking up each day with a purpose.
