Do You Need To Figure Out How To Increase Your Opt-in Rate?

Hello, my name is Ken Christie and I would like to tell you about the company I use to advertise online.

But first, a question…

You have a marketing campaign running, using your opt-in page and you’re getting some signups. That’s great… but how do you know your getting the best use out of your tools?

Do you need to figure out how to increase your opt-in rate?

“How do you do that?” I hear you ask… 

You need to split test, otherwise known as ‘a-b’ testing. 

If you don’t know what this means, let me explain.

On the opt-in page/pop-up/banner, that you are using to attract your sign-ups/ opt-ins, the wording, the design, the colours, all come together to create the offer. 

But, which part has attracted the prospects most? 

Is it the wording? If the wording was changed slightly, would that encourage more people to click?

Is it the design? For example, what if you placed the list of benefits on the left, instead of the right? Would that increase your opt-in rate?

What about the colour? Are people attracted to red, or blue, or green, or grey?… that might depend on the product you are offering as well.

So you need to make two opt-in pages, the original and a copy. Using the copy, you make one change only. Then you run both pages for a time and study the stats to see which is earning more clicks.

When you have that information, you delete the poorer performing one, make a copy of the higher performing one and make another change and test both. 

NOTE: Remember to make a note of the changes, otherwise you might get confused, over time.

"Oh!" You ask, “Where do you get the stats from?” 

You get the stats from your tracking tool. You take the url of the first opt-in page, enter it into your tracking tool and it spits out a tracking url. Then you do the same with the other. 

When you have the two tracking urls, you enter them both into your Rotator. Then you use the Rotator url as your opt-in page url.

“OK, OK, Where do I get these tools?”

You get these tools when you join and upgrade to the Basic level, for a low monthly fee, at a company called “All In One Profits” (AIOP). If you are new to this company, let me quickly give you a rundown.
