A New (OLD) Investment
Have you ever seen an American silver eagle or an American gold eagle and realized how much Real Money you had in your possession? Have you ever seen a dime or quarter minted before 1965? And realizing the value of these coins are more than the denomination shown on them. Do you realize that our currency has dropped in value over 114 years, what will it eventually be worth?
Savings accounts are paying lousy returns, yet banks tellers and customer representatives are still pushing them, why? Individual Retirement Accounts, Certificate of Deposits, Mutual Funds, 401(k)’s and Savings Bonds are just as bad. But, what can you invest in?
How about a New (OLD) investment; Silver and Gold coins and bars! They have something all of the other investments don’t have, durability/longevity and providing “peace of mind.”
If we were to plan a scuba trip to the Caribbean and find an undiscovered sunken Spanish Galleon. If we were to search around it, we may discover a buried treasure containing gold and silver coins and bars! Now after one hundred years of being buried undisturbed and, being cleaned up these coins and bars would still have their brilliance. The value of each coin and bar would be increased have stood the test of time. This is durability and longevity at its best. Can we say the same about our current currency?
To have something accepted worldwide just by the look and weight will definitely provide you with, “peace of mind.” What do you think will happen if ATM’s stopped working or ran out of money? What if currency is not accepted, what will you do? What if you needed to get gas, food, and/or housing for yourself and/or family but the POS (point of sales) machines which read credit and debit cards will not accept these cards, what will you do? Here is an idea, if you had any American silver or gold coin, or a German krugerrand coin, or even Canadian silver or gold coin, these types of coins are recognized throughout the world and would make whatever purchase you needed very easy, without much in the way of questions to you because you would have something that would be desired by many other people. Won’t it be nice to have this “peace of mind” knowing you will not have to “barter” to get what you want, but “purchase” it, and be done.
In our trying and stressful times, we can only do one thing; prepare, prepare, and prepare. What are you going to do?
