Yes, you need to pay the $47 to start. Then, you have 30 days to learn the software and fix your own credit and the credit of your friends/family, etc. Follow the steps, do the work. If nothing else, you learn how to fix your own credit. 

They ask you to sign up for $1 to get your credit report, then $20/mo after that for "credit monitoring", but you get 7 days for the $1. I paid the dollar, got my report, used the software to clean up some dings on my credit, then canceled the $20/month thing. However, if my credit had major issues, I would have kept the monitoring because it shows a ton of valuable information. 

After the first 30 days, if you decide you want to make a go of this as a career, there is a monthly fee to use their software. It's around $180 bucks. I'm ok with that because I can make that in 1 or 2 clients, so it is worth it to me. 

There's also a very informative master class you can take, which is nine-hundred or something, but I didn't opt for that because my background is in finance anyway. Having said that, the courses are REALLY good, so it may be worth it to you to get the master class to fast-track your business.
