Dream Again

What happen to the days when we all use to dream?

Remember when we were younger and life was full of excitement because of an unlimited imagination where every day was filled with new adventures and endless possibilities?

What happen to that little boy dreamed of traveling to foreign lands to slay dragons then rush to the moon or the little girl who dreamed of being a princess that doubled as a doctor and healed the land?

Oh yeah that’s right once we reached a certain age we were told to narrow our dreams and be realistic because in the real world there are no dragons to slay or no such things a Princess Doctors. In the real world you only want to be one thing…and that thing is to live the American Dream.

What is the American Dream? Well I’m glad someone asked you see the American Dream is the key to all success where you get an education, start a career, and have a family so that they can repeat. If it’s okay for mom and dad then it must be okay for me. Simple as that no questions asked.

So we put on our Adult pants to chasing what we were told was the great American Dream. We graduating some type of education and starting a career where we had no idea what we were really getting ourselves into. If it’s okay for mom and dad then it must be okay for me. Simple as that no questions asked. We just settled for working 40 hours a week for 40 years only to get 40% of what we invested.

So what happen to the days when we all use to dream? We got complacent with letting our realities be driven by the 40/40/40 Plan.

This is a call to action to those that have lost their will to dream, those that are sick and tired of being sick and tire, those that are only existing in life instead of living it abundantly. I challenge you to unleash the 7 year old trapped within. Allow your imagination to soar because there is no dream too big nor too small to experience.
