The second reason Ambit Energy is able to keep overhead costs low because they only take commissions once customers are acquired as opposed to the traditional marketing model of spending millions of dollars in different forms of advertising in the hopes of gaining those customers. 

Many folks ask, pertaining to the free electricity, if i gather more than fifteen customers does it just take the average of the highest fifteen bill payments. Ambit Energy will actually take the average of all twenty or twenty five customers or however many that you have but it's important that you have fifteen bills paid on time to make sure that you get your credit. 

When I become an Ambit consultant, when and how will I get paid?

Now when you are new in the business, we have something called jumpstart bonuses. As you acquire customers within your first twelve weeks those are going to pay out in the form of weekly commissions. Now as consultants also join your organization those are also going to get paid out weekly. Any activity that's done up till Friday is going to get paid out the following Friday. Now the customers that are gathered, that's what pays out our residual income. That's paid out on the fifteenth of every month. Traditionally our commissions that we're getting paid on are from the bill payments of the following month.
