We are all souls. The essence of being human is the soul. The soul is that most important part of our being that determines our journey in life, our physical beauty and health, our life situation, our job or career, our financial situation, and our relationships with others be it relationships with family, friends, colleagues and even romance and marriage.
A troubled soul equates to physical illness and living a life with the rest of all the miseries available in this world. Hence if we nurture our bodies regularly with nutritious food and sufficient exercises it is but necessary that we also do that with our souls.
Beautiful soul versus troubled soul:
First, I would discuss the life of a person who has a beautiful soul.
A person with a beautiful soul is easily recognized by his life in all areas. It starts within himself and exudes naturally in his manners and attitudes towards everything around him. He has a happy disposition and is having peace within himself and with anyone and anything around him. His exuberant attitude makes him look beautiful physically and keep him healthy and energetic. He is lovable and he loves everything in nature and everything beautiful. Everything around him natural or man-made is beautiful and would elate him in the slightest contact. He is a happy person inwardly hence everybody around him is happy because his joyful nature exudes and is contagious. He never worries about anything because he has an inner knowing that problems resolve themselves, he knows that his soul or Higher Self deals with every situation in his life; in short, this person lives by faith that is inherent within him. His faith works in all areas of his life. He is beautiful and lovable hence he has a beautiful and happy family reflecting his own nature; he has many friends who acknowledge his credibility and they respect him for what they are convinced of the kind of person that he is. A person who lives with faith through his beautiful soul can have everything that he desires and deserves. His desires are appropriate and perfect for his own well-being and for the good of the people surrounding him. He lives a blessed life, his family, friends and associates love him and are proud of him. Having a beautiful soul is living a good and blessed life inward and outward.
In contrast, let’s survey the life of a person with a troubled soul.
When the soul is troubled within an individual his life reflects his soul in every turn. “What is within so is without” this is an old adage that bears the basic truth in life. This person feels strongly and obsessively the emptiness inherent in every human and he feels that whatever he does is a failure in some if not all that really matter in his life. He basically hates himself in the deepest sense for any personal failures or inadequacies and he blames more strongly his parents, family and other authority figures and institutions to be the cause of his misfortunes in life. To the extreme many of those troubled souls has brushes with the law and are easily swayed to the wrong crowds, drug users and many commit crimes.
Normally, a troubled soul is restless. The emptiness he feels must be filled and the person thinks that sex, romance or marriage with the person he lusts on will fill his emptiness only to find out later that the emptiness stays within him so the marriage breaks and he feels unloved which would aggravate the emptiness that had already been existing within him since time immemorial. Many troubled souls resort to “chase rainbows” meaning they try doing anything that they deem available or within their reach with the hope that they will succeed in whatever they endeavor. Some succeeded in one area of their lives; those who work hard to get rich may succeed in it but because they have unchecked troubled souls, they tend to divert to doing other troublesome ventures that cause them miseries. Take the example of a successful businessman who have gathered all the money he desired but then he resorts to drug abuse, prostituting or womanizing because he can afford and that his feeling of emptiness cannot be satisfied with money; as a result, he will have a broken marriage and his emptiness become an integral and perineal part of his being.
It is because of this truth about the soul that I wrote the book Spice Up Your Soul. The question then would be “How can I have a beautiful soul?” The ideas and some of the techniques are found in my book. My book aims to help everyone to have a beautiful soul hence to have a blessed life.
