Duplication

My response to one of my followers who has been toiling hard at selling a very good product ....one customer at a time, but failing to recognize the value of the Network Marketing aspect of her business:

I am not a salesperson. And I am certainly not willing to work for a company on an exclusively commission-basis, without a salary, and risk my time for a couple of hundred dollars in potential commissions per sale.

 I am a network marketer. That's where the money is. Oh sure, the products I represent have to be great, but selling products one customer at a time is not the money side of the business.  In my industry, success is NOT about SELLING. It's all about DUPLICATING a simple to follow and proven successful process.

I don't like making 40-year retirement plans, I am focused on helping people get their 5-year retirement plans accomplished.

Having a 2000 person growing downline IS a worthwhile objective. Your downline gives you a BUSINESS, not a JOB. (You know what JOB is: (Journey of the Broke).. A downline of this size should provide you a 6 or 7 figure recurring income.

Your downline will certainly not consist of a majority of great salespeople. So how do you set them up to succeed? Unfortunately, having a difficult and time-consuming process to learn always sets the majority of new inspired reps to FAIL!. 

The key to THEIR success lies in the process that YOU used to introduce them to your opportunity. It must be easily DUPLICATABLE.+

DUPLICATION, not great salesmanship, is the key to success in Network Marketing. You should be able to send your prospect to an easy to view video or a zoom meeting invite by an expert presenter, and your prospect (some) should be COMPELLED by it to act. And then THEY would be able to do the same with THEIR prospects. That's duplicatable. 

In this process, the only thing your hot new enrollee has to learn at the sttart is HOW to INVITE prospects correctly (I can teach you that). And then you need to teach your downline the SAME simple (but not natural) skill. There is a bit more to learn as time goes by, but all that comes later in your progress.

This is the key: SIMPLE & DUPLICATABLE. And it applies to any Network Marketing opportunity regardless of the product.

You alone SELLING one product at a time is a JOB. Duplicating and creating an ever-growing team gives you a BUSINESS.      Steven S.
