The First Crowdfunding Strategy Meet and Greet Information Session was held on May 24, 2017. Colonel Jack, Johnathan and Rhonda presented an awesome discussion on their backgrounds, what brought them together, who they are looking to assist when it comes to crowdfunding and their passions and desires to simply help people. According to Wikipedia, "Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people. Crowdfunding is a form of crowdsourcing and of alternative finance. In 2015, it was estimated that worldwide over US$34 billion was raised this way. 

Traditional crowdfunding is a powerful platform there is no denying the empowerment people have gained by being able to fundraise for their personal and or business projects. Traditional crowdfunding campaigns mostly do not meet their goals because they do not have a strategy or plan. If you pay attention most people will ask for any amount. However if you have a medical bill that is $200,000 any amount will not help. The only amount that will help is $200,000.

What the Crowdfunding Strategist have found is there is a faster and better innovative way to crowdfunding literally using a smartphone, laptop and wifi access. Rhonda served as a Development Director for a national non-profit organization where she was hired to raise $270,000 in less than 9 months. She raised $272,000 in less than 9 months and this was before crowdfunding came on the scene. Rhonda had to meet people face to face and was bound by time, working 9 to 5pm, to recruit and train volunteers to help her fundraise. 

Now with crowdfunding once you set up your campaign your information is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Technology has definitely improved fundraising on many levels which is a plus for the average person who desires to raise funds for their personal and or business projects.

Rhonda first found the crowdfunding system in 2016 when she was looking for a way to raise funds to pay for medical bills from being on a breast cancer journey. 

Colonel Jack has a passion to help those who need help period. He encourages people who have a burning desire and need help from getting from point A to point B.

Johnathan is building a fitness brand and is a gospel music producer and he as well is ready to help those who desire to help others.
