There was a time while working in restaurants (which I did for more than 20 years) when I truly loved what I was doing and felt like I was born to look after people, to serve people.

But at some point I realised there were too many things that I was starting to resent-

• my body was suffering from the late nights, shift work, and physical/mental strain of the high-stress work space
• by agreeing to work for an hourly wage that was capped (my boss could never afford pay me what I wanted) I accepted that as what I was worth (when I knew deep down I was worth so much more)
• working more hours was the only option to make more money, but meant I had even less time to do the things I actually wanted to do and that brought me joy each day
• being an employee had its freedoms, less responsibility for instance, but in exchange for what? The chance of ever becoming financially free and the ability to live my life with ease and flexibility

I had millions of line-in-the-sand moments but the fear of 'what will I do instead' and 'how will I pay my bills' kept me working for years past my due date of departure.

In the end timing is everything, and it was my time, I was ready for that new opportunity, and having explored the obvious options like day trading crypto and becoming a random junk yard treasure hunter, network marketing found me.

As someone who'd grown enough resentment for the 'system', I saw NWM as a true alternative to ever having to step foot in a restaurant again.

I signed up with Enagic 2 weeks after I first saw a friend's social media post and spent the next months deep diving into understanding everything I could so I could share the opportunity with as many people as possible.
