Is Money REALLY The Root of ALL Evil?
I wanna try and write about a touchy subject in hopes I don't offend too many of you. My topic is about a phrase/belief that has been shared or told to all of us at some point in time.
And it goes someting like this:
Money is Evil; Money is the Root of All evil; The Love of Money is the Root of ALL Evil.
Now like I said, you've heard one of these phrases at some point in your life, but which one do you believe? Or should I say which phrase do you think is accurate?
Before I go any further I'd like to state that I'm neither an atheist or agnostic. So my opinion about this subject which is going to lead me into why I wrote this announcement, is not biased or based in any way on my faith.
That being said, I don't believe ANY of the phrases above are true. I have never believed that money was evil. That type of thinking is just silly to me. And I'm going to say this again, religion aside, I think to believe money is evil is silly. why? If money is soooo evil than why is the Vatican so heaped in money? According to Georgetown University, the average weekly donation of an American Catholic to the church is $10. There are 85 million in North America, meaning each week the Catholic Church pulls in $850m through donations from individual Catholics.
And I don't believe you can think or talk about this topic unless religion is brought into it somehow. I hate that! And I hate talking about religion with people because there are so many denominations and then there is the good book (The Bible) which is open to interpretation, is also too touchy to talk about too.
Then there is "Money is the Root of all Evil." This phrase people get wrong all the time. Those who are so called in the know when it comes to carrying on a conversation about religion and this topic, will always correct that person and say, "No, that's not true, the LOVE of Money is the ROOT of all Evil."
So here is where I come down on the subject. I truly believe this phrase, "The LACK of Money is The Root of All Evil". I don't think you hear or read that very often do you? Think about it. As many crazy stories as you hear and see on the news and there are a lot of them, have you ever seen reported "MILLIONAIRE ROBS LIQUOR STORE?" Or BILLIONAIRE Holds Up 7-Eleven at gun point? NO! You don't!
I'm sorry folks but to me money is not evil at all. And I'm going to make some people mad by saying this too. I don't believe that the love of money is the root of all evil either. People do evil things associated with the LACK of money they have in their wallets, purses, bank accounts, etc. I don't care if it's a person in the middle class trying to "keep up with the Joneses" or a Wall Street stockbroker commiting to insider trading. They do things like buying the bigger house, the nicer car, the better vacation with money they don't really have, to outdue their neighbor. Maybe the stockbroker wants the same Lamborghini he saw his colleague just bought. Any way you slice it, it's a LACK of money that makes people want to do evil things to others in order to buy what they want.
Which leads me to why I stopped promoting my network marketing business as my primary business. Money! Plain and simple. I wanted more money and I wanted it quickly. Don't get me wrong, I love the network marketing company I with. The product we showcase is very good and proven to help average people lose weight fast. And we have a very good compensation plan. However after many years involved with various MLM companies I began to realize that building a downline to where I could earn enough to make my mortgage payment was tough. But with a high-ticket program, one sale makes me $500, $1000, $3500 bucks. Who wouldn't want that?
In a nutshell, my thinking? Money being the root of all evil? Money is evil? The Love of Money is the root of all evil? All that. No! Not in my opinion. I sleep a lot better at night knowing that from week to week now, since I joined my high-ticket program, I'll be getting an overnight envelope in the mail from either Fed-Ex, DHL or UPS with $500, $1000, $1500, $3500 or $6500 inside and I didn't have to sign up 10-25 people to do it.
If you love your network marketing business/company...Great! Keep building! But if you need to make a lot of money NOW and you don't feel like building a downline to do it first, check out Six-Figure Empire here ===> http://www.EraseYour925.com
