People Just Don’t Get It Here on MLMGateway
What is the problem with people who start their own small online business? Do they not do any personal development at all? They first thing that is taught by any truly successful person is that you have to be interested in the success of those you are dealing with.
Success is not in the money, nor is it in the leads, and you won’t find it in the list rather where you will find success is in talking to people and being truly concerned about them and their success. You have to learn about their goals, wants and dreams and then help them to set a plan of action to get there.
Most people do not want to build lists and take the time to write blogs or emails daily to reach out to these people and half the people or more on the list never look at the emails as well so it is time wasted.
We all know we have to reach as many people as possible to get the ROI or return on investment that we need.
Here is an example of reaching people and the difference it made. Several years ago 7-11 never spoke to you when you entered their stores and then one day they started to address you as you came in with Good Morning or Good Afternoon which made you feel appreciated and when you were leaving they would say to you Have a Great Day. What this did for their sales was astounding, the increase was amazing because people felt appreciated they had a tendency to spend a little more money rather than be in such a hurry to get in and out.
This is how we have to treat our business even though we often never see people face to face it is nice to speak to them on the phone or zoom. Personally I like zoom and the face to face contact you have with people. One problem today is people don’t think it necessary to be polite whether it be talking, zooming, texting or emailing, the words you use tells a lot about yourself. When you write something be sure it is spelled correctly as again that says a lot about you.
PROFESSIONALISM is the name of the game. We need to always be at the top of our game as we never know when the opportunity arises when we will have the opportunity to talk about that which we are passionate about called our business so we must look like a casual version of ourself but not a person who wears torn jeans and a skull and cross bones pictured T-shirt. Sir Richard Branson or Oprah Winfrey are great examples of the type of person we should all fashion ourselves after just at a cheap price than they would spend.
If you have never read their rags to riches stories they are both great reads and trust me if they can succeed by looking after others in the way that they do then I know I will be successful by looking after a few people one at a time for now and maybe someday I too will be in the same rank as them with just a few less zeros behind the dollar sign.
