Fish in a Fishbowl

Do you feel like a fish in a fishbowl with your business? In other words no matter what you want to do you need MONEY to do it, like advertising, getting the word out to people. Do you wish people would listen to you? You have tried to talk to your warm market and they won’t have anything to do with you so now you are left trying to talk to the ugly, un-forgive cold market. DON'T FRET THE SMALL STUFF! 

Step outside the fishbowl, find ways to bring the people to you for mere cents.

Bringing people to your business is like going to the largest lake in the world with the wrong bait. So change the bait. Give the people something of value to bring them to you and so you can keep their attention as you can give them a short overview of what your business is about. People listen when they will get something of value in return.

Hand out brochures, add a card to the brochure again adding something of value. On the back of each card, put a clear label say something like Compliments of: your name, phone # and your business.

You go to a mall and say "Mama, can I talk to you a moment about my ABC company" and they will probably reply "NO sorry I am in a hurry"

But if you say "Mama, I want to give you a $200 travel discount card for free" they are likely to stop for minute look at it and possibly ask you what it is about. You then can tell them and then mention it is a gift compliments of your ABC company,

You all like to look at income figures so here are some for you. You hand out 500 cards a month, 250 of those cards get used on which you get paid $100 or $25,000. Now out of those 500 cards 100 people become IBOs on which you get paid $75 for another $7,500 and the other 400 become members so they can continue to get the discounts on which you get paid which because they are members will vary but comes in over time.

You look at the income generated by the IBOs and decide that is not bad at all so you do it month after month after month. While you are doing that, the income from the discounts starts to come in, a few hundred here and a few more, then a few thousand because as you know people do not travel all at the same time. What you are doing is setting a progressive income in place as you get more and more members using the discounts. If you had 100 people use the cards every month you would have $10,000.

Now we have not talked at all about the number of people who have looked at your other business and bought product or joined it.
