Revenue Sharing Traffic Exchanges – Jet Fuel for Your Flight Plan to Freedom
Conducting continual marketing campaigns to maintain a high-profile presence in the market place is fundamental to the success of any business, regardless of whether it operates online or offline. So, in this announcement I am going to describe how you can use Revenue Sharing Advertising Traffic Exchange (RSATE) websites, also known as Rev Shares, as a source of funds for the regular marketing campaigns you must run as an online entrepreneur to make your business successful.
But, before describing how this Rev Share income literally is the “jet fuel for your Flight Plan to Freedom," for the benefit of those who are not familiar with revenue sharing traffic exchange websites, I want, first off all, to shed light on the nature of these sites and how they work.
What is a Traffic Exchange
A traffic exchange is simply a membership website that provides members with advertising services. The “exchange” aspect comes from the fact that members surf and view other members’ adverts, based on a system of earned or purchased surfing credits, where each credit equates to one random member of the site visiting or viewing an advert or link to a website of another member, for a set number of seconds. As a member, the link or links to the web pages you want to be viewed are presented in the form of text ads and/or banner ads, which are designed to attract other members to click on them.
Each traffic exchange has upgrade options which allow you to earn more credits. In addition, by referring new members to these traffic exchanges, you stand to earn a referral commission and in some cases a portion of whatever credits your referees earn during their surfing activities.
Traffic exchanges are, in fact, a somewhat contentious subject amongst internet marketers, with many claiming that they are a useless traffic source because members only surf the ads on the site to earn credits, not because of a genuine interest in what is being advertised. The counter argument says, because a traffic exchange represents a community of like-minded people, in the same industry, these are ideal prospects; action takers who understand the industry, therefore, as a marketer, you do not have the usual objections to overcome when pitching your offer to them and if anyone of them sees what they like whilst surfing ads, then they are more likely to take action and engage with it. I would say the truth lies somewhere in between.
Advertising Packages (Ad Packs)
Traffic exchange websites have been around for many years, but one of the more recent developments within the industry is the advent of the Revenue Sharing Model. This involves the purchase of surfing credits in the form of Revenue Sharing Advertising Packages, commonly known as Ad Packs. These ad packs provide surfing credits that can be used to advertise your website in the usual way. However, they also come with a revenue share element, which means, as a holder of one or more of these Ad Pack, each day you will be credited with a share of the company’s revenue, based on the number and value of the Ad Packs that you hold. However, in order to qualify for the revenue share, you must surf or view a specified minimum number of ads (usually 10 ads) per day, in the traffic exchange.
The ad pack scheme described above is a form of rebate or cash back reward for viewing ads daily in the traffic exchange. It is designed to attract members and incentivise them to view ads on a regular basis, over an extended period of time, thus ensuring that the traffic exchange company continues to fulfil its obligation of delivering clicks and ad views as the main service bought by its members. So, every time a member purchases an ad pack, and provided they continue to surf the specified minimum number of ads per day in the traffic exchange, then they will be credited with a proportion of the initial ad pack cost, every hour, until the full cost of the ad pack is returned to them, plus whatever percentage profit that ad pack is designed to earn. For example, an ad pack that initially cost $50 for, say, 1000 ad views, may eventually pay back the owner $60 by crediting the owner’s electronic wallet within the traffic exchange an amount of $1 per day until the ad pack expires in roughly 60 days. This amounts to a profit of 20% on the original cost of the expired ad pack. The payment of the cash back at a rate of only $1 per day ensures that the owner continues to view 10 ads per day if he wants to receive the full rebate plus profit to which he is entitled. To continue to participate in the rev share after the ad pack has expired, the owner would have to buy another $50 advertising package, which would also eventually yield $60 at the end of as similar time frame.
At this point I should add a disclaimer. Revenue Share Advertising Traffic Exchange companies are always at pains to emphasise that, when buying ad packs, you are purchasing advertising services, namely, a number of credits, clicks or views to a website of your choice. Ad packs should not be viewed as an investment and therefore should not be purchased with an expectation of a guaranteed return. They are NOT an investment and the earnings are distributed to active ad pack owners only if the company makes enough sales to warrant paying out the revenue share. In addition, there is no specified time limit by which each ad pack will reach expiration, because, again, this is dependent on company revenues. The figure of 60 days quoted above is given by way of hypothetical example only.
Inside the Traffic Exchange – How it Works
So, to summarise, the rev share concept described above is based on you buying traffic for your website by purchasing ads packs. Ad packs are a specialised web traffic product that deliver a set number of clicks or views to your website, depending on the cost of each ad pack and the number of ad packs purchased. They also carry a revenue share element that allows you to participate in a cash back reward scheme in return for viewing a specified minimum number of ads per day in the traffic exchange.
When you purchase one or more ad packs, you need to create a banner to which you attach the URL or website address you want to advertise, so that your traffic exchange credits can be assigned to that URL. Once you have your banner and URL set up, then the traffic exchange will deliver your purchased number of views to your website URL and also reward you for your effort of viewing other members’ ads daily by giving you daily cash back, up to, for example, 120% of the original cost of the ad pack. If you purchase ad packs but you do not maintain your specified number of daily ad views in the traffic exchange, then you still get the credits you purchased to advertise your website, but your ad packs are paused and you do not receive your hourly rev share income. As soon as you resume your daily ad views, then your hourly earnings are reactivated for the remaining life of the active ad packs.
An important thing to remember here is that the amount of hourly rev share income deposited in your electronic wallet within the traffic exchange depends on:
1. Company profits – there is no rev share pay out if the company does not make enough sales .
2. The number of active ad packs you own – note, you can purchase as many ad packs as you want up to a specified maximum and the minimum number of daily ad views you have to fulfil to qualify for the rev share remains the same. In other words, if the number of ads you have to view daily in the traffic exchange is, say, 10, then this remains the same, regardless of the number of active ad packs you own.
3. Ad packs are NOT an investment - therefore should not be purchased with an expectation of a guaranteed return.
4. Each ad pack expires or “falls off” once it has paid the maximum percentage rebate .
5. There is no time limit by which each ad pack reaches expiration. This again depends on company profits .
Fuel for Your Flight Plan to Freedom
Returning to the theme of this announcement, I will now explain how you can use earnings from the rev share traffic exchange sites we recommend to fuel your marketing campaigns and power your Flight Plan to Freedom.
Now, most newbie online marketers do not have a lot of money, which, I suppose, is the reason why many of them come to the internet looking for ways to make money online. As such, they cannot afford to join a lot of the available online opportunities, most of which charge joining fees, not to mention the monthly payments that are required to maintain your affiliation. This also applies to a lot of experienced internet marketers, most of whom have never made a dime online.
In addition, every online opportunity requires traffic and, although so-called free traffic methods exist for driving traffic to your website, these take time to perfect and will not produce immediate results. So, the quickest and most effective way to get visitors to any online opportunity is to buy traffic.
Now, internet traffic packages are not cheap, ranging from as little as fifty dollars to thousands of dollars per package, and this is where Rev Share Traffic Exchanges come in. Rev shares serve the purpose of providing those crucial funds needed to join your first online business opportunity and to cover those initial marketing costs of getting your business off the ground. And even when your business is established and in full flight, you can continue to use the income from your chosen rev share company to join higher ticket business opportunities where the real money is made and to scale up your marketing campaigns accordingly.
So, even if you are broke, you can start by initially spending a little bit of money to buy traffic in the traffic exchange – click the following link to learn how to start your online business for as little at $17 with my Simple Broke Man’s Plan – and then as you continually click your minimum number of ads daily in the traffic exchange, you get that cash back plus a little bit of profit. You can then spend that money on traffic again, and build up your rev share earnings to levels that allow you to join more lucrative business opportunities and scale up your business by buying quality traffic from specialist traffic vendors.
So, what rev shares do is they give everyone the chance to change their lives for the better, regardless of their circumstances, by providing a stepping stone to starting and running their own online business. Now, at My Online Income Academy we recommend the use of two particular Revenue Sharing Advertising companies. The two companies are leaders in the industry and by clicking the link below you can learn more about how we leverage the income from these two rev shares to fuel our Flight Plan to Freedom.
