How To Get Your Blog Or Video To Top Of Search Engines - Even If You're New!

I guess you can imagine what would happen if you begin getting your content to the top of any, if not all major search engines?

Yes, you would see a lot of traffic, for free, who are actually interested and SEARCHING for what you offer. So in an easy to understand format - SALES!

But how?

How do you get your content to the top of the search engines, when there is so much competition and knowledge to overcome?

The Secret To Search Engine Rankings

First off, I can not promise this formula I share with you will work every time on every post. No marketer is able to rank anything they wish.

I can assure you that some of it will. Some will go #1 spot. Some will get to first page or second, and some flop.

But if you write new content and make new videos often, you begin to see it is a numbers game and the free traffic begins to build like crazy. So, let's get started!

The Keywords

What are people searching for that you offer?

For example, if you sell or market a weight loss product or products, what are people typing into search engines with when they are wanting to lose weight?

Check out the "Google Keyword Planner" to get lists of all the things people type into search engines when they are looking for what you offer.

Then, start with the fewer searched results, and build content around that keyword.

BIG TIP: If you do a search on the keywords that Google displays for you, see if anyone has used the exact keyword as a title in their content/video? If not, use that no matter how many searches it gets. There is a huge chance that it will pop up in top spot when people search that phrase.

If you get massive people using the higher searched keywords, try using the less searched ones. This helps to avoid getting put out by so many others, and gives you a better shot at those 10 people who search that keyword each month. The lower searched, the less competition. Use those to start as you build authority for your blog or channel.

The Promotion

Now if you get a lot of social signals such as Facebook likes and shares, tweets, pins, etc - it gives Google and others the hint that people like your content.

So getting those signals are important, and backlinking is still big.

Promotion is a big part, and it helps your content overall.

The more often you post and promote, the more powerful each post gets. So that leads to the next part of the formula to get to the top of the searches!

Load New Content Often

Everyday is best. Those who never miss a beat tell the search engines they are dedicated to their niche.

Without even using any of the SEO strategies I list in this post, just posting a lot of videos and content each day will do the job.

Many people who blog everyday do not even use SEO practices, yet much of their content is found on page one of almost every search engines. Posting often is powerful, so make the decision to load more content up more often than your competition for a huge advantage!

Duplicating Content

Not meant to paste every word from your blog post, but instead write new articles that link back to your blog.

An example is MLMGateway. If you write a new blog or load a new video, write a business announcement on MLMGateway that links back to the content. Do not use word for word, but treat that article just as the blog itself. 

The more the extra articles get social signals and backlinks, the more links there are pointing back to your content. 

This is where the real work comes in, and where most people decide it's too much.

It doesn't have to be done to rank, but doing so, increases the odds of ranking, and increases the amount of traffic period.

I use several other websites to write new content on, and lead them back to my original content. Sometimes, the articles hit the top of the search engines before the blog itself does. So using high authority sites like Linkedin, helps a lot.
