The Better Business Card

I attended a business networking forum in 1997 called CEO Space International. The people who attend this forum are the best of the best of the best.  Some of the key people you network with at the forum are Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and many other well known professionals, authors, and business leaders. 

One of the more popular female business leaders I met there was teaching about how to create a better business card.  Your better business card is not a 2x3 card that you hand people with your name and contact information. Your better business card is the book you write being the expert that you are in your profession. 

You probably know things that others don't know.  How many times do you watch videos on Youtube where someone has put up a short video on "how to?"  These people are not experts, however they know something that others don't know and create a video to teach others. 

The better business card is the book you write and put your ad at the end of it.  The content of the book does not necessarily have to be about what you are sharing in your ad.  However, the content needs to be something that interests others so they will want to download your book and read it. 

I have placed several books on Amazon and over the years have made over... what am I thinking?  I don't want to boast about how much I have made with my books, but I do want you to be aware that I put my books on Amazon as eBooks as well as in paperback.  Most all of them have a link to something at the end that makes me more money than the royalties on the book.  

For instance, an eBook priced at 99 cents on Amazon earns a $.35 royalty.  You have to sell a lot of those books to make a lot of money so for the most part eBook sales will bring in a few dollars but now a landfall unless it was written by a best selling author. 

Years ago, Mark Victor Hansen was going to write a book about Zero Point Energy Wand but I beat him to it.  I wrote the book with information about what ZPE Wands are and why they help reduce pain.  I put a link to the company that I purchased my wand from because it is infused with over 18,000 frequencies.  And as planned, people visit the companies website and I earn commissions from those purchases.  The eBook sells for several dollars so I have done pretty well on book sales, however I make 20% on each wand purchase which sale for over $100.   

I have created one of my better business cards as a document on Google.  I do docs on Google so those who access the information can download them to their computer and edit them so they can share them with others.
