Where to Recruit Leaders for Your MLM Business
At the end of the day, you want to recruit leaders into your network marketing business. Recruiting one good leader is better than recruiting 1,000 followers.
Network marketing is a LEADER DRIVEN business. Reps and customers come and go like the common gold, but leaders build big teams.
Here are some good "groups" of prospects with leadership qualities you can focus on recruiting:
1. Anyone with proven success in MLM
2. Top realtors
3. Top insurance agents
4. Successful teachers
5. Anyone who makes a good living working on a commission
6. Rotary or civic organization club president
7. Local politician
8. Pastor
9. Anyone with a radio show
10. Any of your Facebook friends who has a large following
11. Linkedin Influencers
12. Successful Bloggers
13. Anyone with a popular YouTube Channel
14. Anyone who works in sales and does real well
15. Anyone who owns a successful business
16. Life coaches and business coaches
17. Anyone who loves to sell
18. Youth sports coaches
What makes these people good prospects? For the most part, they have credibility, contacts and influence. They have other people who like, know and trust them. When they speak, people will listen.
In most cases, they also have DISPOSABLE INCOME, good self-esteem and a good attitude.
The group of potential leaders I shared with you is by no means an all inclusive list. You shouldn't prejudge people either. I just think it makes sense to look for high caliber prospects rather than people who NEED the business.
Where to Find These Leaders
First and foremost, keep your eyes and ears open for leaders and potential leaders. Look at each group of people I mentioned earlier and ask yourself the best places to meet these people.
Here are a few examples:
Facebook & LinkedIn - You could search these two social media websites and look for people in each of the categories I mentioned above.
Networking Groups - You could join local or online networking groups to meet these people. I also like civic groups such as Toastmasters, the Rotary Club, Elks, Kiwanis, etc.
Direct Mail Lists - You can also purchase direct mail lists and send these folks a postcard marketing campaign.
Trade Journals - You could advertise in trade journals or magazines that these people read.
Final Thoughts
There you have it folks. This is some of my best advice on where to recruit leaders for your MLM Business. Talk to everyone and anyone because EVERYONE knows a leader.
Always ask your prospects this question: "Who is the sharpest, most motivated person that you know?" Get that person's name from them and reach out to them yourself.
At the end of the day, your goal should be to find and recruit two to five leaders as quickly as possible. That is the best way to build a big team and create a big income.
