Does your business own you?
Most people who are entrepreneurs in online/home business arena will agree that 9-5 job just don't cut it and that's why you start your own business in the first place. When you think about it, most people who owns their business actually don't own the business, the business own them. Notice that I didn't say "YOU" because you are smarter than all of these people who are working themselves to death. I am definitely not against hardwork in any way, shape or form but when you work this hard and you don't even get to take time off when you want, is a problem in my book. You are working yourself to exhaustion because you are simply working against yourself.
I am a combat veteran and was on deployment to Afghanistan for over a year. I didn't just write that so you can say the cliche "thank you for your service" but to inform you that I am a grunt. I do work. I can't wait to wake up 0500hrs every morning to get my day started. With that said, I can tell you that what I do is not work at all because work and fun is the same to me. I don't feel or get tired because there's no difference between work and play for me. Can you say the same for yourself?
Are you winning the game of your life or you are a life's bi*$#? So many people lie to themselves daily that they are leaving the dream while in reality they are living their nightmare. If you are not honest with yourself, who will? Is what you are doing all that life has to offer you? Is what you are doing a reflective of your DNA?
What you do must be a reflective of your skills, and your skills must be a reflective of your DNA. In other words, WORK=SKILLS=BEING. So the question really is not what are you doing, but who are you being? Your work should be nothing except who you are. Are you a money-chasing slave? Chasing the next shinning opportunity out there? This article is not to sell you anything but to help you reflect on who you are becoming on a daily basis. All the mlmers and network marketing in the world can pitch to you all there is, and they can potentially make you lots of money, but will that satisfy and fulfill you? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU???
Do you know the person who inhabits this meat suit that you carry around? This is not to motivate you or give you any of the b.s jargons meant to pump you up, take your money and drop you like a piss of trash. Have you gotten to know yourself? Are you knowing who you are or you are just patching life moving around like a ghost? If everything you are acquiring as you read these words are taken away from you, would you be able to recognize yourself? I'm not talking about the person you see in the mirror, I'm talking about your core, your real self? DO YOU KNOW THYSELF?
Some are lost and think that making money or working will give them purpose and thereby makes themselves slaves to life. You need to drop everything you are doing right now and take about 15mins off to search within you and answer this question: WHO AM I? Note: No one can answer this for you but YOU. There are lots of people who's passion is not make sure that most people don't know who they are so they can manipulate them and use them for their own gain and you can find these kinds of people everywhere including MLM and Network Marketing. Answering this question will give you clarity. Knowing the self in you will allow you to only do that which aligns with your DNA, not working because you have entrepreneurial spirit. There are lots of people with your skills and passion that work themselves to exhaustion without getting to know who the person inside is. At the end of their lives, they'll say "I've made lots of money in my time" and that's all they get to reminiscence about. Would you be able to say "I got to know who I AM and I AM truly SATISFIED and FULFILLED in life!!!
