Why I am using essential oils
The main reason I stick to using natural products is to get away from toxic chemicals.
I have 3 small boys and I am teaching them the true meaning of the saying "Nature knows best"
Doterra means "Gift from the earth" and it is such a precious gift
Three cool things about Doterra's essential oils
1. 100% Natural - pure plant material either cold pressed or distilled
2. More effective than conventional medications - your body knows what to do with 100% natural products and can use it more effectively than synthetic or chemical based products (loads of serious research available)
3. More cost effective - You are literally going to use 1 drop at a time. You basic cell is protected by an oil membrane. Conventional medications are all water based thus cannot penetrate your cells. The essential oil are an oil, so it can penetrate the membrane to get into the cell and restore the cell from the inside out.
The next thing I absolutely love about oils, is how easy it is to use oils:
1. Aromatically - Diffusers is currently such a trend and you get the most beautiful ones. Decor with a purpose. So I just put 3-5 drops in my diffuser and let it run. Most diffusers has 3 time settings. If you do not have one yet, you simply put a drop on your hand, rub it in, cup your hands over your nose and take deep breaths for about 30 seconds. 2.Topically - Rubbing diluted oils is incredibly effective. Rub on your chest, down your spine (along your spine in the most amount of nerves), under your feet (biggest pores so absorbs the fastest) when you look at some reflexology things, you will put in so much more effort with your feet
3. Internally - Because Doterra oils is 100% natural and safe, you can use some of the oils internally. always check the numbers on oils (only take oils internally if you can confirm that there is no synthetic or chemical additives). some I put 2 drops in my water, some oils I take in a capsule
