Some different ways to get leads

1) LinkedIn. If you haven't already done so, create a free account. Let people know you are a home based business owner. Put your name, phone number,email address, and website so people can reach out to you if they want to. Write a good bio and include a good picture of yourself. Include your education, job experience, interests, etc. Stay generic. Do not mention MLM or the name of your company. Your goal is to connect with other people on LinkedIn. You can search for people with specific interests and join groups. LinkedIn is a great source that many network marketers overlook. 2) Email signatures. This is a free and simple way to promote your business. Just use a catchy headline and send people to a capture page, so you can generate leads. 3) Update your Facebook profile. In your profile, mention you own a home business. Don't share the name of your business or post a link. If you sell weight loss products, mention you are a weight loss coach. Don't pitch people, draw them in. Be positive and stay away from subjects such as politics and religion. You can also set up your own fan page or create your own private group. 4) Business cards. A professional business card with your name, phone number, email address, and website address. You can also make your card a sizzle card, where you have a headline, offer, and call to action, such as "Make an extra 200-500 dollars a month from home Go To(your website)  To Learn More". Don't mention MLM or the name of your company on your business card. You want them to go to your capture page so you can get them as your lead and have your autoresponder follow up with your pre-written emails. Give your business card to everybody you meet. Also, collect business cards. That gives you a good lead in when you call them. You can say Hi (persons name),  You gave me your business card (give day or approximate time). 5) Online forums. Forums are a great place to generate leads. Try to pick a forum where the people would be the best match for your product line. Set up your account and create a signature profile with your website link in it. Focus on answering a few questions you may come across and add value to the group. Some people reading your post will go check out your website. Don't try to sell your products or mention your business opportunity in the forum.
