Rockstar secret to domination

In November 1979, English rock band Pink Floyd released their 11th studio album.

 It was called... The Wall.

The story was about a rockstar named Pink, who shut himself off from the rest of the world. His separation was symbolized by a wall. 

I must have listened to that album 117 times when I was in high school. I remember coming home from school, shutting myself in my room and losing myself in the music. I don't know why I felt drawn to it. Perhaps I felt isolated myself.

I didn't know it then, but I was subconsciously programming myself with one of the secrets to achieving any goal. In fact, if you don't follow this plan, you'll never accomplish anything. 

It's like gravity. Without it, nothing works.

What's the secret? 

It's hidden in plain sight in the title of the song Another Brick In The Wall.

Every time something happened to Pink, it was another brick for his wall. Terrorized by teachers at private school? Add a brick. Beaten up by bullies after school? Add a brick. Wife left you? Another brick.  

Brick by brick, he built the wall to shut out the world and wallow in his self-imposed incarceration behind the wall constructed out of bricks of pain.

Ok, that doesn't sound very successful. Stick with me.

 The secret is adding the bricks. In the movie, Pink uses the bricks of pain to create something harmful and ugly.

But you can use the same strategy to build your amazing future! Every step works exactly the same way, but instead of misery, you take your bricks and build an amazing life. 

When it comes to making a killing with your own online bidniss, there are essential bricks you MUST have. It's not negotiable or up for discussion.

You MUST have interested people looking at your offers every single day. 

Some of them will choose to give you their email address so you can engage with them. They're the folks who are most interested in your offer.

Those potential customers are the lifeblood of your business. Without them, you have no following, nobody buys from you, and your business crashes and burns. 

The first bricks of your empire are the people on your email list. They're the most important part, because without them, nothing else matters.

You MUST put new people on your list every single day. It's a critically important activity and you should track it every day. 

If you are welcoming new people to your list every day, your success is in the bag. 

If you're not, your venture is doomed.

 Let me put it another way...

If you can't build an email list... if you can't put up a squeeze page with an attractive offer... and coax people into giving you their email address so you can interact with them... there's no point in going any further with your bidniss. 

You've got to figure out how to build an email list FIRST - BEFORE you waste a truckload of cabbage on crap that won't help you make your first dollar online.

 You may be thinking, "That's nice Dave, but I don't know the first thing about building an email list."
