Time
The most precious commodity on earth
Why?
Because we are mortal
So if you pose a question to an immortal: Do you value time? His or her answer would likely be no!
And why it is said to be the most precious and coveted commodity in the world is because no matter what status, gender, race or financial standing, you cannot physically BUY time. HOWEVER, there are several ways in which you can spare your time to do better things with. Things that actually matter in life, not money or cars or houses, but things that fill that gaping hole in your body and fill you up with emotion that makes you want to get up the next morning and do exactly what you did the previous day. This search for pleasure or happiness is innate to all humans and allows us to keep moving forward regardless of what your situation.
People always ask me: Is traditional prospecting dead? And the answer from my personal experience, is NO.
Let me tell you why:
More important than all the money and freedom in the world (I think) is the way that network marketing exposes the fakes in your immediate and distance friendship or acquaintance circles, and for this reason I say that ALL NETWORK MARKETERS SHOULD DO TRADITIONAL PROSPECTING, even if it is for just a little while. It might take some longer than others, but the results WILL SHOCK YOU!
There are some statistics that suggest that, from what is known as your WARM MARKET, that 5% of your network marketing team AT THE MOST will be made up of people from it.
Now what does this mean for you?
Basically means that the likelihood of you having an amazing WARM MARKET is very low and you WILL NEED TO FIND A WAY TO DO COLD MARKET PROSPECTING, or else you will ultimately FAIL and become one of those cynical ex-network marketers who failed and call everything a scam!
Now I’m not going to lie to you, if you have the right team and right set up, warm market prospecting can be very fun and exciting and can yield tremendous results. Most cases of very quick success are usually attributed to this, and if it happens to you then grab on because it’s going to get rapid and amazing all at once!
