Isagenix International Acquires Zija International
It was announced earlier this year that Isagenix International, located in Gilbert Arizona, acquired Zija International, located in Lehi, Utah. This merger brings together two very successful major players in the plant based nutrition industry.
Zija is a 14 year old privately held and privately-funded company founded by Kenneth E. Brailsford that develops, and markets, a line of Moringa based products designed to meet the needs of those into an active lifestyle and fitness (Ripstixx), and folks interested in weight management solutions, and plant based nutrition (Core Moringa). They also have a line of home essentials to keep your house clean, calm, and cozy along with a line of skin care products (GenX), and essential oils (Ameo). The company operates in more than 50 countries worldwide, pioneering the #NaturalHealthRevolution to help individuals achieve Life Unlimited.
Isagenix is an 18 year old company that provides systems for weight loss, performance, vitality and well-being, personal care and beauty, and financial wellness. This combination of powerhouse nutrition providers will be a force to be reckoned with when the two are fully integrated into one company. "We are pleased to welcome Zija to the Isagenix family," said Jim Coover, Isagenix co-founder and chairman. "Our companies share common cultures and goals, and we look forward to the positive impact this acquisition will have for all parties."
These are exciting times and this is the golden opportunity you've been waiting for! Now is the time to get on board and set yourself up for the lifestyle you've always dreamed of. When the transition is completed, Zija distributors will become part of the Isagenix family, which comprises more than 500,000 members in 14 markets: the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and South Korea. This addition will help strengthen Isagenix by expanding its associate and customer base, enhancing its plant-based product portfolio, and reinforcing its global footprint. Travis Ogden, Isagenix chief executive officer said, “This comes at a promising time for both Zija and Isagenix. It brings greater synergies to both companies, and in joining forces, our aligned missions to impact the world health will be stronger than ever."
