Why I Became An Independent Travel Agent

When I was approached with the opportunity to become an independent travel agent, for me it felt like a dream come true! I love taking the opportunity to travel wherever and whenever I can and I was also the trip planner for all my group trips with friends. When it was explained to me that I could be paid to do what I already do now, I was instantly sold. I was also sold on the fact that I could do this job from anywhere, all I needed was wifi and there was no pressure or sales targets. 

This was important to me because I was stuck in a 9 to 5 that was making me miserable and the thought of eventually being able to travel for a living was really appealing to me. I am so passionate about travel and helping people explore new places and cultures and I intend to do what I love everyday. 

I took the leap on starting my own travel business on the side because I was tired of always complaining and seeing no changes, I was tired of seeing travel influencers on instagram and envying their lifestyle and decided to create the life I wanted to live for myself.
