THINK Energy has made significant environmental progress by protecting 1,339,000 trees, safeguarding 6,617 acres of land, storing 371,704 tonnes of carbon and helping remove 80,809 emissions - these numbers reflect its positive environmental impact.

One Tribe and its conservation partners utilize four main strategies to protect endangered forest regions: Land Titling, Designation, Purchasing and Carbon Offsetting. Each strategy works towards safeguarding large quantities of land acreage for permanent climate mitigation measures.

THINK Energy and its partners are leading forest conservation efforts through land grants to Indigenous groups to safeguard ancestral lands from incursion, and purchases to preserve endangered species. They're playing their part in protecting forests.

THINK Energy's innovative approach to environmental sustainability is evidenced in its nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation. By 2030, these solutions may achieve emission reductions or removals equivalent to at least 5 GtCO2e per year. THINK Energy's contribution to climate mitigation demonstrates the power of natural solutions in mitigating extreme climate risks.

THINK Energy's efforts go beyond forest conservation; they encompass protecting Indigenous lands and biodiversity protection. The company recognizes that Indigenous populations, which make up less than five percent of global population, protect 80% of global biodiversity. THINK Energy's efforts in supporting Indigenous communities' fight for land protection and to stop any potential encroachments have not only preserved forests but also maintained their rich cultural history and biodiversity benefits.

THINK Energy and One Tribe have collaborated on six forest protection projects designed to preserve biodiversity while fighting climate change. From protecting Colombia's Sierra Nevada to creating the Ekolo ya Bonobo Community Reserve in DRC, these projects represent a holistic approach to environmental conservation.

THINK Energy's commitment to sustainability can also be seen through their Indigenous Environmental, Sustainability & Governance values (iESG), created in consultation with elders of the Wahpeton Dakota Nation. Indigenous communities, and the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), share values which emphasize respect for land, protection of forests and biodiversity, fairness and equality, humanity and transparency.
