Affiliate Marketing For Beginners - Start Off Right

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate Marketing has turned into a billion-dollar industry. It is a great way to make money online. Affiliate Marketing is where you use other people's products and services and in return, you earn a commission for the sale. Affiliate Marketing with Facebook Ads is an excellent way to start affiliate marketing since Facebook has over four hundred million users. Now that you know the basic rules of affiliate marketing with Facebook Ads, go ahead and try it for yourself.

Affiliate Marketing Facebook Ads: This Affiliate Marketing strategy is simple. Just create a Facebook ad about the product or service you are selling, and put a link on your blog post to your website or sales page on your blog. Facebook does let you do so, but that does not mean you can randomly spam everyone with your affiliate links in your Facebook ads... Facebook will ban you instantly, so just get the basics down pat. Remember, put up your website and sales page, and then link them up to your blog posts.

Google AdWords: Google AdWords is another great way to earn affiliate marketing commissions with. You pay Google each time someone clicks on one of your ads (these are called "Google pay-per-click" campaigns, and you'll also have other methods of advertising through Google that work well, too). This works well, because Google's keyword-matching algorithm is highly effective at finding profitable niches. The only drawback to this type of affiliate marketing with Facebook is that you may not generate as much cash as you would with more traditional networks (such as, say, ClickBank). Keep in mind, however, that with any campaign, even if you don't hit the jackpot, you're still earning commissions--and it's free to start!

Mouth Marketing: Affiliate marketers have been doing affiliate marketing with Facebook for a while--but not exclusively. It's actually possible to sell stuff to people who aren't necessarily fans of your affiliate marketing products but might be interested in the subject matter. The term "mouth marketing" is something like a cross between press release marketing and affiliate marketing. Basically, you send an email to someone you know that has an interest in the topic you're covering, and in return, you'll offer them a free eBook or report (or both! ).

In addition to these networks, there are also several other ways to start affiliate marketing with Facebook. One is to look through your friend's walls to find things that appeal to you, or that pique their interest and strike up a conversation with them. Another is to sign up for groups that focus on your target audience. For example, if you're an SEO company, you could sign up for groups that discuss topics about SEO.

As affiliate marketing for beginners, you'll want to keep these four strategies in mind. Use them to build a network of contacts, and then use those contacts to promote your affiliate links. Over time, you should have a large list of contacts, which you can use to promote affiliate links whenever you need to. The more contacts you have, the better--that means more money in your pocket!
