Network marketing is a profession. You must develop your specialized knowledge if you want to become successful. You must become a student of your company, its products and the industry if you want to succeed.

How to Learn Network Marketing

1. Show up to school every Monday thru Friday

2. Listen to your teacher

3. Ask questions when you don’t understand something & get feedback

4. Do your homework (do what your teacher asks you to do)

5. Do a little bit extra (your personal development)

# 1 Show Up to School

To be a good student, you must show up to school every single day. You can’t just go to school for one day and expect to learn much. You must show up with an open mind and be ready to learn. You must commit MINIMUM 60-minutes per day to learn and do.

# 2 Listen to Your Teacher

Find a mentor who is successful, and has achieved what you want to achieve in the business. Humble yourself and listen to what they teach you. Do not reinvent the wheel or try to deviate from their teaching.

# 3 Ask Questions

Your teacher cannot read your mind. It’s your responsibility to ask your teacher questions when you have them. The only dumb question is the one you don’t ask. Try to be proactive and figure out the answer on your own first, before you go and ask your teacher. You can find most answers on YouTube or Google. 

# 4 Do Your Homework

As a student, you will always have homework. If you don’t your homework, you will get a failing grade. Doing your homework means doing what your teacher asks you to do. Doing your homework means you do the income producing activities and learn by doing.

# 5 Do a Little Bit Extra

The little bit extra is your personal development. Commit to minimum 15-minutes per day to personal development. Work on your skills, attitude and mindset. Read books, listen to tapes, attend events and do something to get a little bit better every single day. Your business will only grow as much as you do.

There you have it folks. These are five things you should do if you want to learn network marketing, be successful, and take your business to the next level. Keep in mind that you have to be the student before you can become the teacher. You have to be a good follower before you can become a good leader.
