Why are People so scared to change to a different company?
The answer is easy, it’s called PRIDE. We as humans want to believe that any decisions we make are the best decisions that could ever be made. That’s right, we are the hero of our own story. We of course did all the homework required to make the best-informed decision possible and how could there be anything else out there that is better?
How many businesses go out of business every year because the owner did not take any outside advice or make changes that everyone else could easily see, in order to move the company in a better direction or even keep it from going under? This happens all the time and I have to admit that I was one of those people as well. I let my PRIDE get in the way! I personally have run a couple of successful businesses over a 25-year period of time but when it came to a not so traditional company, I thought I had found the absolutely perfect company that was a perfect fit for me and nobody could convince me otherwise. The problem was that it was “a perfect fit for me”, the key word in that phrase is the word ME. I was looking for something that made sense to me and made me feel fuzzy warm inside along with the idea that I had it all figured out and again, nobody could tell me different but really, I had missed the basics that made me successful in my 25 years of traditional business. I was only looking at myself and not the big picture. When I stared my business 25 years ago, I was scared and nervous but dove right in and got out of my comfort zone each and every day. I put in the hours and never lost sight of my dream and I listened to the people around me and made appropriate changes from time to time and I found great success.
Word of mouth advertising is truly amazing and if done right it can provide income beyond imagination. Are you ready to put your PRIDE aside and make a true exciting business decision and get on board with a company that has proven leadership and is disrupting an entire industry?
