DO YOU HAVE A
“People don’t change once they’re set in their ways.”
That’s what someone told me when I looked the way I did on the left (~2011)...
I wholeheartedly disagree with that statement...
You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink...
In the photo on the left, I was at the lowest point of my life. I became a regular cigarette smoker, I smoked other things 24/7, I never slept, every day was an insecure day, and I was running with heavy street drug users, and I was in the middle of drinking my last year at Rutgers away.
In the photo on the right (2020), I am at the highest point of my life. I am almost 3 years 100% tobacco-free, I have HEAVILY cut back on drinking, I hand-select the people I spend my time with, and I’m living my life to the fullest with my loved ones every day.
Why Did I Make the change and How Did I Do It So Quickly?
I started to explore self-love.
Something happened not long after the photo on the left was taken that could have changed the entire course of my life: I got arrested and was facing heavy fines and possible jail time.
My life flashed before my eyes.
I woke up, got my act together through freelance writing, which (unbeknownst to me at the time), opened the door to my journey in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship.
A year after living in stability, my business which is now known as ADS Copywriting was born, and I re-discovered my purpose.
Over the years I took control of my emotions (99.9% of which was responsible for my bad judgement), built a wonderful romantic relationship with my love of 9 years, reconnected with my family, found my long lost sister, discovered my passion for writing/digital marketing...
All because I realized that every choice you make bears a consequence, and the foundation of success is learning to love yourself.
In the photo on the left, I had less than $2k in my checking account...I just calculated my net worth the other day and I’m at $55k, all within 9 years.
If I can do it, I know you can too, all it takes is a...
BURNING DESIRE.
