I am taking a break from making some calls to my leads, and figured it'd be a great topic to discuss on a business announcement.

So today, we will focus on why calling leads is so important, and also, give you an idea of why you should embrace it instead of fear it!

The Know, Like And Trust Factor

What could be more powerful at helping a prospect get to know, like and trust you more then speaking to them?

Keep in mind, every prospect or lead you get, is also getting several other offers through email from several other people.

So why should they believe your opportunity is any better then other people's?

I have closed many new team members that could of chose a number of things to join, only because I was the only one they talked to.

Having that personal touch will greatly increase your odds of getting the signup!

Most People Won't Call Leads

Everyone seems to want to use only email to get sales and signups.

This leaves you as the one who has the advantage.

If no one else is doing it, it gives you a chance to get a lot of business.

While everyone else is using email only, you are able to increase your signups through getting to know people like we did before email came out!

Take advantage of being one of the few!

People Join People 

It's true more then you think.

The reason email is not as effective as speaking to someone, is because people join people more.

So, by calling your leads, you will see more people who join you, even when they looked at the business through someone else before.

I've had several people join me who wanted to join someone else before, but because they didn't get to know the sponsor personally, never committed.

So if you run across someone on the phone who had an interest in joining the business you are in, you will almost for sure get the sale!

Inspiration

Another thing I have seen many times from calling leads, is their inspiration from me simply calling them.

Many believe if I were to call them as a total stranger, I must be calling others too.

If I am calling others as well, I must be super successful, and one to join.

I remember my very first signup over the phone, later told me she thought I had been in the industry for a long time and just assumed I'd done this many times before.

But I told her, she was the first one. She was blown away.

So understand, many people will be amazed when you call, not angry.

And some of those, for that reason, will want to be on your team and your team only.

Overview

So perhaps you see the positive side of calling leads now.

So don't think of it as a negative thing. There will always be calls go bad, and people act rude, but it's a rare thing if you are calling actual leads.

The only time you get rude people is when you buy the leads from someone online. Those are usually generated in a false manner, and people are deceived to it.

So it starts off on the wrong foot.

But calling people who opt-in to your funnels, or genealogy leads, will mostly go good.

But, the more you do it, the more they tend to go good as you get better at it.
