Make a Major Breakthrough in Your Life
If your life seems like it is stuck, isn't it about time to implement some necessary changes and enjoy that breakthrough in your life you deserve?
Being stuck in a rut is the pits! Think about it, the same mindset, the same routines, habits, and actions--giving you the same mediocre results. No freaking, thank you!!
There is no doubt it changing is challenging. So, to be effective, it's essential to only concentrate on changing just one part of your life.
Here are some strategies to use in changing some aspects of your life:
1. Concentrate on one thing you want to change in your life. Tackling something big will require a lot of sacrifice and focus. Attempting to lose 40 pounds while searching for the love of your life and planning to look for a new job may be a bit much. Focus on one thing and WIN with that.
2. Set your goal and be crystal clear on what you want. Be committed to accomplishing it. It does take an amount of courage to tackle an important goal. Remember, there is always a likelihood of failure. So ask yourself, is this the goal/desire I want to achieve? Am I willing to make some sacrifices? YES, you are? Oh yes, setting goals is a form of decision making. So congratulations, you are locked in now.,
3. Be an expert on whatever the topic of your breakthrough happens to be. Learn some things on the subject, read a book or two, watch some video, and even speak with an expert. You do not want to spend too much time on this step as you may find yourself procrastinating.
4. If part of your life is less than you want it to be, who has the power to change it? Exactly, you do! What are your concerns, overweight, toxic relationship, financial troubles? It is up to raise your standards. Once you start to raise your standards and things are taking a turn for the best, you will have to be less tolerant of what you will accept into your life. That is if you want some significant breakthroughs.
5. What are you waiting on. Begin a plan to get started! The first step is knowing what you want and how to get there--at least how to get started. Make sure your plans are SMART that they are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time Based. These five things help ensure that your plans can lead to success.
People make plans all of the time. The key is to follow up as some people don't do this. You will be excited about your plans., but understand your enthusiasm can fade quickly.
6. By all means, eliminate bad habits that will interfere with getting in your way of progress. These habits can be anything from eating late at night, too much time watching television or spent on social media, etc. These things will undermine your efforts and negatively impact your progress.
7. And lastly, don't quit. Yes, I know, you've heard that 1,000 times; but, you know it's true. If you are working hard, it is hard not to be successful. Keep pushing until you have the breakthrough you desire.
