Cash in on the Nostalgia craze on FB: Be A Tour Guide at the Nostalgia Museum!

Who doesn't like talking about the good ol' days with friends and family, even acquaintances and total strangers at times? Most everyone does. Nostalgia is a hot topic on Facebook. One group, Vintage TV, has over 23,000 members (up from just 17,000 a month ago), and has a thriving, engaged membership, all talking about the television shows they grew up watching. It is such a warm feeling bringing up those good times. WBW Productions, LLC is an entertainment company based in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, which started out recreating the old time radio shows popular primarily in the United States from the late 1920s through the early 1960s. With a talented troupe of local actors, they started out performing live shows at local theaters. This success lead to requests from audiences to start a podcast. Into the recording studio the WBW Theater Players went, recording a year's worth of shows to entertain the masses with. Not long after this, a Brooklyn, New York internet radio station asked if they would put WBW Theater on the air, every other Friday night, with two half hour shows. Since its debut on 920 WON: The Apple, they had the highest debut of any new show on a Friday night since the station's inception eight years earlier, and continue their run to this day in the #1 ranked spot for Friday night.

This led the creator and founder of WBW Productions (WBW standing for "Way Back When"), Dennis Moore, to look at the area of nostalgia. Not only is old time radio still a hot topic out there, but Dennis noticed that there is a booming interest in many nostalgic areas, from entertainment, to music, to fashion. So he expanded his idea to incorporate essentially the entire history of entertainment, into three areas: visual, audio, and publishing. Thus, the WBW Nostalgia Museum was born. In it can be found classic movies and television (including commercials), Saturday Morning Cartoons, the World of Classic Animation, The World of Old Time Radio (over 35,000 original recordings in their collection, and growing daily), classic literature and audiobooks, original comic books, pulp fiction, comic strips and magazines from days gone by...and much much more. Classic entertainment is the crux of this site, located entirely on Facebook, where subscribers just register and subscribe using their Facebook ID, and head in to enjoy reminiscing with other subscribers in closed Facebook groups dedicated to their particular interests. There are individual enrollments, themed enrollments based upon interest in just audio, or video or publishing, and the popular Mega-enrollment, which gives subscribers access to the whole shebang, all 24 exhibits, all on Facebook, all networked together.

WBW Productions has a few plans under development, to create more original content, inspired by the past, including original streaming web series, books, and more audio series and podcasts. Revenue from enrollments are used to fund these projects. The idea behind the Tour Guide program came about as Dennis felt he wanted to help people, especially work from home people, with a simple yet powerful way to earn an income from home. The Tour Guide Referral Program is a two-tier referral program that pays 40% commission off direct sales, and a 10% bonus off of Sub-Affiliate sales. There is no cap or limit to the number of direct sales of enrollments that can be made, and no limit to the number of Tour Guide referrals that can be made. Their first goal is to help their Tour Guides earn enough hourly equivalent passive income to equal what they are currently earning at jobs, within the first twelve months.
