We come from the Corporate World where we owned and operated a successful Dollar Rent A Car Franchise. It was a large family operation, we had many employees, we generated millions of dollars in revenue, but we were married to the business. Although we paid ourselves a large salary we literally found ourselves so busy that we didn’t have the time to do the things we wanted to do. To tell you the truth, money doesn't buy you happiness... it only gives you choices.
After selling the business in 2007, we invested heavily in Commercial & Residential Real Estate looking for residual income. Through no fault of our own we soon watched our hopes, dreams and investments dwindle as the economy began to slow. Our dreams became our nightmares as our net worth dwindled and our residual income dried up. In all reality, we sold at the perfect time and invested at the worst possible time!
