Games Women Play
Darnell was excited to tell his grandma about his love of his life. After telling her about his love, he asked, "Grandma, how to make a woman happy?"
Grandma replied, "Women have changed now days. Even God can't make them happy, so you can only do your best and live your life." He was shocked by what grandma said, so he asked "How so?"
Grandma said, "See God has given women hair, but they will change it by coloring, cutting, etc. God has given them eyes, but they will change color of their eyes by color contact lenses; God has given them eyebrows, they will shave them off and get tattooed false eyebrows; God has given them breasts, but they will get surgery done to enhance them...See, young man, making them happy is a tough task."
Indeed, grandma is very astute in her observation. You may have sincere intention of making your woman happy, but it is practically impossible. It is tough to understand what women want, how they think or why they behave the way they do. Simply because women play mind games. Here are some examples.
Jealousy Game
She will not appreciate you talking or looking at other women. But she will deliberately "play" or "flirt" with different men to see how she can make you jealous. If you were to get jealous, she is likely to say you don't trust her. If you were not to get jealous, you don't love her!
Emotional Game
This is very common emotional game played by women, if you really love me, you'd be able to read my mind". Truth be told, mind reading has never been part of "love"! Instead of saying what's on her mind, your woman will want you to guess. Most likely you will be wrong!!!
Another emotional game that ranks high, "I love you just the way you are, now change for me." Your woman is likely to think that you are fix-up project, only to be molded and shaped the way she want.
Using "Sex" Game
Ironic as it may be, she will make you believe that you want sex more than she does. But in reality, women do like sex the same way as men do. But after all is said and done, she will act as if she has done you a favor and expect something in return.
Dressing Up Game
She wears clothes that show off her body. She will say that she dresses up to boost her self-confidence. She wants you to know that she has the body which make other men holler. Dare you say anything! If you do, you are controlling her. If you don't, you don't care about her anymore. Beware, she want to be sure she is running things!
It is important to note that not all women play these varieties of games. But women know that these games can serve reminders that they're attractive or that their man is dedicated to them regardless of what.
For you, as a man, it may be frustrating and may appear to be silly or even downright frustrating. But that's the way it is sometimes. So what can you do about it?
The answer is not easy. But if you have confidence in yourself, just be the way you are. Remember just because she may play games, you need not be a willing participant.
