The Power of Marketing.

What is in front of you now as you read this announcement is a product from a given producer: a tablet, smartphone or maybe a desktop, personally am on my desktop in the school computer lab. The products we are all using are different in many different ways, one of the most common difference among them is the producer that came up with the devices we are all using.  Apparently when statistics is done there must be a producer that most of us are using his product than others, this could be because of many different reasons. Today we are going to look at how marketing could be one of the reasons.

Good marketing strategy could keep a low quality product at the best position in sales at the same time; a poor marketing strategy could see a high quality product getting very low sales. That is what i call the power of marketing. Marketing is a very important tool if well used and done in the right way. Marketing identifies the target to its product and when you miss to hit the right spot we are already starting a problem; for instance putting up a pork butcher in a Muslim community would a missed shot, why? Muslims do not take pork and they are the occupants of the  community you just opened a pork butcher, the chances of getting a consumer from this community would be very minimal opposed to one who opens a grapes store in the same community at the Ramadan. When Muslims break from fasting during the Ramadan season one of the  things they consume are grapes and you would have just shot  your target. Marketers should know who needs whatever they are marketing. When you take a product that a consumer needs to his reach the increase in value is automatically realized and the company will experience high sales.

Marketing is more about the consumer than the product. What does the consumer want will help us design and come up with a product that would do great in the market. Marketers must make sure the visit the market and find the desires of the consumer at this point the consumer is the target and so we find out what would make them happy. When you solve the target market's problem, this alone will let the product do so well in the market reason being that it will be solving the problem it was designed to solve. If marketing is done well then its power is felt and seen.
