NETWORK MARKETING NO LONGER A ‘DIRTY’ WORD - says Harvard Business school

“Pyramid Scheme! Don’t you come near me with that scam” You must have heard this a thousand times right? Well, at least if you are very active talking to people about your opportunity. This is often one of the biggest objections when you are a network marketeer. And the internet doesn’t often help either as there are constant articles such as “Is {whatever your network marketing company is called} a scam?” – which are usually written in a way of ‘smear campaign’ by other (partial to dirty tricks) marketeers that want the readers to join their Affiliate marketing or other online businesses instead.

But now you have something to say when you encounter this objection again – Harvard Business school! Harvard business school now teaches Network Marketing in business as a legitimate business model. Currently one of the fastest growing business models in America it is now recognized as an accepted business model. Harvard business school recognized that most of their students, no matter what their degrees are globally recognized, could not find work. With less jobs around and not looking likely to return, the way people earn a living has changed. This coupled with peoples purchasing habits (now largely on line) times have changed.

People such as Eric Worre (Go Pro) & Frazer Brookes (The Ninja Network Marketer)  have worked long and hard to make this industry a professional and ethical business and we are now (Finally) showing signs that it is considered as such.

Harvard Business school conducted a study that concluded three main criteria when picking your Network Marketing business:

1. The business should have been active for a minimum of 18 months. As most businesses fail in the first 18 months, it is advisable to ensure the business can stand the test of time.

2. The product or products sold/ or promoted should be highly consumable and give value to the consumer, ideally with a ‘unique’ or competitive edge.

3. The timing of joining the company is linked with how saturated the opportunity is. They recommend that the best time to join any Network Marketing Business was to join what they called a ‘ground floor opportunity’ which is to say when there are less than half of 1% of the country's population where distributors in the particular country you would be focusing on building your business in.
