Using MLM Sizzle Calls for Lead Generation

Sizzle calls are a great way to expose your prospects to your business opportunity or products. It’s non-threatening to your prospect and very convenient.  People can call and listen at a time that is good for them.

A sizzle call is nothing more than a recorded voicemail message that explains the benefits of what you have to offer your prospect. It's basically a short sales presentation.

A good sizzle call is three to five minutes long. A good sizzle call is direct and to the point. No hype and no fluff.

You want to focus on “what’s in it for your prospect?” If you can do that, it will be very effective.

You can put your sizzle call number on all of your marketing materials, to include your drop cards, business cards, flyers, your website and more.

While most people are internet savvy, not everyone is. Not everyone has 24/7 internet access or a smart phone (believe it or not). Many people, especially the Baby Boomers are less tech savvy than other generations. By using a sizzle call in your marketing efforts, you can appeal to more people.

With that being said, here are my best tips for using sizzle calls for lead generation.

# 1 Include testimonials in your sizzle call. Whenever possible, use testimonials from other satisfied customers. Your prospect might not believe you, but they will believe what other people say about you, your product or your business,

# 2 Include a music intro and outro. Include a three to five second intro and outro on your sizzle call. Make sure it is upbeat music.

# 3 Be positive and upbeat; enthusiasm is contagious. Be enthusiastic, but not so over the top that you blow people away. Make sure people can feel your energy.

# 4 Focus on what’s in it for the prospect. Remember that the prospect doesn’t care about you or your product. They care about how they benefit by using it. Focus on the benefits.

# 5 Keep it to three to five minutes. Do not ramble. Be direct and to the point. In most cases, shorter recordings are better than longer recordings. Most people have short attention spans.

# 6 Have an option where people can leave you a message at the end of the call. Select the option where your callers can leave a message to ask you their questions.

# 7 Tell your prospect what you want them to do next during the call. Have a strong call to action at the end of the call.

# 8 Make sure it is available 24/7. This should be self-explanatory.

# 9 Put your sizzle call number on all of your marketing materials. Include it everywhere you can think of.

# 10 Call back EVERY single person who calls your sizzle line to follow up with them. Some people might hang up during the call. Check your daily call record and have someone on your sales team call back every person who called in.

Final Thoughts

The bottom line is that you should use sizzle calls to generate leads and grow your business. They are simple and inexpensive and very effective. If you aren’t using them, you are really missing out.
