Trying to juggle working full-time and making time to be with my family soon became an exhausting and lonely battle with no end in sight. Having to work during the constant fast approaching school holidays, anxiously searching for someone to take care of your children or being forced to miss sports day because your boss doesn’t understand.

They don’t understand the toll it takes on you to miss your children’s achievements or the heartache it feels to watch that time disappear. It makes you feel like a failure and the worst parent in the world.

I know this feeling all too well - lived with it for so long that I lost my confidence, my sense of self and any hope for my future to change.

Would you believe me if I say that it doesn’t have to be like that?

Big money. Fancy cars. Luxurious mansions. Time. Things I dreamed of things that were always so far out of reach, things that just don’t happen to people like me
