Do You Sometime Give Up On Your Dream?
We all had a dream once on how we want our lives to be. Maybe your dream was about your health, your wealth, your family, new job, ect. While many of us wish and want to follow our dreams, we often doubt them and think that they will never become a reality. Some times these dreams seems too good to be true and very far fetched. It looks very big to achieve.
I was once a person who used to dream about things. God put a dream in my heart and I envisioned myself being a very healthy, wealthy and successful business man. A dream to help others and to make a huge difference in other peoples lives. These are achievable and not far fetched unrealistic dreams I would say..
“The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.”
Well here I am a couple of years later and i realised that my dream is still just a dream. Nothing is happening and it all feels to good to be true all the sudden. I’ve stopped dreaming. I gave up on my dream and what i believed in and I end up questioning myself...
• Did I give up on my dream?
• Is my dream no longer relevant?
• Is it gone?
Everything I think of becoming or dreaming about seems so impossible and not in reach. I watch Joel Osteen every morning and I make sure to never miss a sermon. This somehow makes me feel that my day is going to start of good. It feels very awkward and not right if I miss one of his preachings.
One morning he preached about the dream God has put in your heart. He said that one should never give up on ones dream and that God has given you that dream for a good reason. This made me realise that its time to start dreaming again. The lack of dreaming caused a huge gap between where I am right now and where I want to be in life.
“If one dream dies, dream another dream. If you get knocked down, get back up and go again”
Albert Einstein once said “Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts.” My taking on this is to start dreaming again and to never give up. I’ve decided to spend every morning before my day begins and every night before I go to bed on my dream and to believe again. To believe is very powerful and the pursuit of a believe is to manifest it into reality. To pursue your dreams or something implies that it already exist.
4 Ways how you can make your dreams a reality
- Visualise yourself reaching your dreaming. To visualise is a great first step in the right direction
- Ignore the haters out there. Family and friends who do not believe in you and who does not share in your dreams.
- Get organised in you daily activities and plan properly.
- Develop and work on your self-confidence
Today is a perfect day to start living your dreams.
