There's that word again..."free". The very notion of the word in the center of the Human mind affixes an idea of costless, no-strings-attached, EASILY-ACQUISITIONAL state of the Physical or Metaphysical available to anyone, anywhere, at anytime (we're talking Earth, Wind, Fire, & Water...). The Advertising niche...? Not so much. In fact, conventional wisdom grants that if you wanted to hide or launder huge amounts of money without anyone ever even batting half-an-eye, place one-thousand television advertisements in important regional timeslots during Prime-Time (8-to-10PM) all over the continental US.

The relative (and daunting) cost of Advertising is inverse to the multitude of copywriting methodologies requiring the abuse of the word "Free" in such a horrifyingly-stupid manner that a newly-born kitten is promptly (and, messily) impaled upon each reprehensible commission of this vile abomination. In fact, a whole multi-billion dollar sub-niche has been spawned upon this useless tweak of a frown-wrinkling Time-suck.

Called safelists, or Traffic Exchanges, or any permutation on the idea that millions of marketers who have no clue on how to get hold of a dollar held down on the ground by a handful of loose change all congrgate to get bamboozled by master (faceless) salespersons extracting something worth its' weight in Platinum...the email address. With this all-important resource, any marketer has an incentive to sell worthlees, useless items to potential Sucke...I meant BUYERS (lol!).

Marketers who enter this maelstrom of governmentally-unregulated marketing mayhem usually are ground-up and spit out the bottom of the Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) after a try-and-fail period of anywhere from 6-to-24 months. UNLESS, they get smart and start getting an overview of the game - which happens everyday and exactly why the "free advertising" niche isn't going to be helping anyone anytime soon. The profit model is unsustaining for anyone other than ruthless, email-hoovering operations (like bulk advertising companies).

When site owners in those previously-mentioned niche typologies realize that 97% of their email list are ruthless "tire-kickers" and get out of the game after hemorrhaging cash for longer than they intended to. Advertising is only free for consumers as their email resource is the foundation of what drives this Advertising sub-niche and it major players; the coding purveyors (without which, these scripts for the sites wouldn't work) and so on. There CAN BE a silver lining in the situation if you maintain standards and play your part in the Game correctly; the 'Knight In Shining Armor' apex being Craigslist.

Once a synonym for Internet Spammage, Craigslist has revolved one-hundred-and-eighty degrees in becoming a multi-billion dollar classified advertising site driven by FEE-BASED submissions. The hero of aspiring sites everywhere, it took over a decade (and some serious legal struggles along the way) for Craigslist to establish itself and claw its' way to the top of the heap. The next contender to come out of the muddy competitor pit to take their place alongside them is Kijiji (another five years, lol!) as they're limiting access to popular advertising categories like 'Business Opportunities'.

If you're looking to get a leg up in this game, you'll have to employ some outside-the-box thought and start your search for automation that will help move you up to the next-level of profit and help save Time and Effort. The physical issues to deal with are emails with credit-links to click on. Eliminate this effort, and the process of advertising gets a little easier (that said as many marketers have dozens-to-hundreds of these ad site accounts. With Gmail being the modern choice of the current Marketing set, you want an app that'll login to your account, search mails for a specific linked-text, click on it then delete the email.
