How I went From An Anxious Recluse to an International Speaker, With This One...
If you had told me I was going to be speaking in front of a live audience a year ago, I would have asked you what drugs you were on!
It's crazy to think a year ago, I hadn't been on a plane in 15 years.
By the end of this year, I will have been on at least 13 Plane journeys this year alone.
It's amazing how much can change in a year and by the end of this story, you will be shocked at how fast things can change for you.
My name is James Neville-Taylor from Cambridge England and I would like to tell you my story.
I am going to tell you how I went from a withdrawn, anxious recluse to an international speaker, traveling the world and making a full-time income online in under 2 years.
I’m also gonna tell you a few secrets that have helped me get to where I am today
Now to give you a bit of background, I suffered a lot of abuse when I was 11-12. I was in children's homes for my teenage years. I moved 15 times during those years, never being in one place long enough to trust anyone, and those I did end up trusting stabbed me in the back or worse.
You may not believe it now, but less than 2 years ago, I could barely string a sentence together. Couldn’t go out without being under the influence of alcohol or worse and was so bad, I couldn’t even make posts on Facebook.
Fast forward to now, and I am earning a full-time income with Builderall which allows me to travel the world speaking in front of hundreds of people.
So, I started with Builderall last August.
And just 6-7 months before that was when I decided to get into digital marketing.
Before that, I battled very badly with anxiety and depression and I had all but given up.
Builderall has helped me overcome my anxieties, it helped me overcome my fears and the amazing community has been so helpful in allowing me to grow.
Before I had no confidence, I didn’t believe in myself, I thought people were out to get me, I thought people were going to put me down and make me feel like an idiot because that was what I was used to most of my life.
One of the only things that kept me from going off the deep end was computer games. I kept playing computer games because it was the only thing that kept me sane during my childhood and teenage years.
But what helps you at one point can slow you down at another. Just like an anchor, the games I played to keep me grounded, sane, and happy during my childhood were dragging along and stopping me from reaching my potential later in life when I was able to move forward again
Builderall originally appealed to me because of the amazing value that it offers and the ability to keep all my tools in one place.
The thing that kept me around, however, was the leadership, character, and vision of the CEO and the incredible community that he had built.
I knew that it was going to be around for a long time and it was going to be a massive success. So I knew I needed to get into it for the long haul
When I first started Builderall, I was so nervous I couldn’t even post on Facebook. I would psyche myself out of making posts and I was so nervous, I couldn’t even do the simplest things.
I wanted to make a name for myself in Builderall, but I had no idea how I was going to do that when I couldn’t even make a simple post on Facebook.
So, I started learning about the tools I watched all the y tutorials. I ate slept and breathed builderall and learned everything there was.
Then I started posting in the facebook groups, helping people out.
And people were liking what I posted, people were engaging with it and I met some amazing people and it really helped build my confidence up.
After that, I was asked to speak on a summit an international summit and do a presentation on Builderall and I was so nervous that I forgot that my microphone was on mute the whole time.
That was so bad, I was mortified after that. But I picked myself up and dusted myself off and carried on and did the presentation a week later and carried on and that again helped my confidence a bit. The first bit didn’t but the second time did!
After that was the Builderall certification that was an amazing experience and that was really tough for me as well because that was between 2 and 6 hours some days on video calls and I found it hard sometimes to speak to people, especially with up to 100 people on each call.
But I pushed through it and pushed through my fears and again people were liking what I was saying and I was contributing and I made some really good connections on there.
In January of this year, I became the world’s first certified partner and everything has just kept on improving since then.
I now co-own a successful digital agency which is primarily funded by being the world’s first certified partner and Builderall.
So, I want to inspire you to know that if you can get over your fears and put yourself out there that no matter what you fear you can achieve anything.
Fear has 2 meanings, you can take it as, Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise.
I will always choose the latter as I have run in the past and it's a terrible feeling. You regret vastly more the things you don't do, compared to the thingds you do.
I've now spoken in 5 different countries across 3 different continents and next year I'm set to travel and speak even more!
The company and community that has helped me come so far is experiencing such massive growth and is such an awesome opportunity right now. There is no reason why you can't be in an even better position than I am a year from now.
I mean seriously, from where I was to where I am now a year ago was unthinkable.
