Would you like to sell children's/young adult books with me?We have lots of FUN!

My business in called The Power of Reading, my aim is to get as many books as i can into the hands of children and young adults. I would love you to join our team and help me achieve this aim to children in your local area and beyond. 

Why did I join? There are a few reasons. To provide free and discounted books to children to promote reading.  I have 2 boys (another child on the way) and I want to supplement my income on maternity leave. My day job I'm a secondary school teacher. I want my children to have access to new books at home, which they LOVE choosing! Reading is a big part of our bedtime routine. Spot the Animals is our current fave. 

How do I run my business? I run my business from the comfort of my living room! All online, mainly using social media platforms. I schedule posts so I don't need to post every day. It's all done using my phone too so you can easily respond to customers. You can choose to run stalls, which I might do approaching Christmas time to get into the festive spirit! I have already sold a few advent books. I have also worked with schools and have run sponsored reads, again, all of this was organised at home via e-mail. 

What do I most enjoy? Promoting reading and seeing the enjoyment the children get when reading them. Working with an amazing group of like-minded people.  Earning 24% commission on every single sale plus choosing free and discounted books on each order, I usually let my children choose a book on each order. 

How much does it cost? For £150+ of books, it costs £48. Within 1-2 orders you get your startup fee back in commission so you are running your business for FREE! Usborne also refund this back if you make a good start and also give you an EXTRA £50 kit boost. There are also optional incentives to earn more if you want some extra personal challenges. 

Are there any targets? NO!  This is why this business works for me, no targets and no pressure. Once you have made your first sale, the rest is up to you. You put in the time you have available around your other commitments.  This might be 2-3 hours each week or 1 hour each day. The more you sell, the more you earn.
