Escape challenge kits for children

Children are spending longer and longer on screens and studies have shown that this has affected childrens concentration spans, which in turn affects their reasoning and problem solving skills.

A way to increase these skills, we need to get children off screens and doing other activities. Unfortunately, with lockdown this has been greatly reduced. Now, not only are children spending time on screens for fun, but weve found that with homeschooling, they are glued to screens trying to get their school work completed.

Parents are looking for unique, fun ways of keeping their children occupied, preferably ones that dont require the use of screens.

I started making escape games for home for my children. Not only did they get a good run around, around the house whilst hunting clues, it kept them off the screens and actually enjoying solving math problems. Although an extra bonus was, the siblings working as a team and actually listening to each other.

After a little post on social media about the games I made for children, I found myself getting requests from others to make personalised games for their children.

Escape challenge kits provide a fun escape room style experience for children at home. They help children develop problem solving, reasoning, concentration and team working skills whilst having fun at the same time. children need to focus, solve clues and puzzles and crack codes to escape.

My games range has grown since starting out. I now have four games

- Alien Invasion: the aliens have abducted the children, the children are trapped inside the spaceship. They must solve clues and puzzles to escape.

- Fairy Dust: The fairies are in danger. The children need to work out and find the glitter potions needed to make the fairy dust in time to save them.

- De-railed: can the children stop the train from derailing by fixing the control board in time?

- Witching Hour: the children have been trapped in the witchs dungeon, can they make the apparition potion in time to escape?

I also make customised escape games for my clients, for childrens parties to a theme of their choice. These are super popular and make an excellent party game or even a cool birthday present.
