Do You Know Your Worth In GOLD?

So many times I see entrepreneurs that give their services away for free, because a mentality amongst entrepreneurs have been instilled, and I say instilled, that they have to give things for free! You see if you do not know your worth, how can you expect others to know it, and when they do offer it, you get angry and the following response is heard

 How dare they think this is my worth – I don’t work for this.

Well, this is easily resolved. Ask yourself what is your worth, stick to it, work out your cost schedules accordingly and portray that which you know you are and the worth you bring to people, only then will it flow freely to you.

 The last and most important question… Do you know yourself?

Do I know my value? 

Do I know my worth?

Do I know myself?

I wanted to share with you today how these three questions have everything to do with how you will build a business, either online or offline, but these questions are so vitally important for you to answer.

Because everything that you do not deal with you suppresses, and it comes out in different forms in your life and business, and yes, it shows in your business! So let’s address the first question.

Do you know your value?

The first reaction of many would be to say of course I know! But do you truly.. do you know when this is tested really? It is when someone says to you that you are not to be paid this fee. Or this salary is too much because they don’t see value in that which you bring.

When recruiting in the Middle East it was actually quite fascinating to sit opposite candidates and asking them this one specific question. What is your salary expectation?

Many times their response was to beat around the bush, they couldn’t give an answer or would say whatever you would pay me.

So I have to ask you today if you don’t know your value in business and what your uniqueness is, and what is the God-given gifts you possess, how will people be able to see your value?

Remember always, people purely reflect the way you feel about yourself. What you speak about and what comes out of your mouth is what is the reflection of your value?

Therefore when someone challenges you on this and asks well what value do you bring, don’t you just stand back and pull back but be bold, stand forward and say, the value that I bring is…..(soul search, find your strengths)

Only then will they react with respect and see the value that you have come to understand about yourself. (People follow courage)
