Trait for Entrepreneurial Success

Did you know that we as people can usually be our biggest critics???? It's true! Building belief in ones self takes time and sometimes a long time at that.... Because

We don't always believe we have what it takes to build a thriving business like others we see that do. When really we all have what it takes with the way the online world has grown along with all the social media sites that have been given to us for use.

Many people wonder what it takes to become a successful entrepreneur and although many peoples situations are different, they also seem to share some common traits among those who have succeeded in building a business...

For example, people who have had a rough up bringing usually tend to have thick skin when adulthood comes. They have been let down and talked harsh upon most of their life or just maybe they didn't have everything handed to them so they had to learn to survive on their own. So in order to get by they put on a thick coat and learn to go about their day not caring what others thought or said. In stating this I am saying many successful entrepreneurs have a past story that's not so great but they have overcome that past, so they have a common trait of what may be holding others back. Which leads me to my first example of...

First you must have thick skin...

I was introduced to Network Marketing in 2005... I was placed in a down-line that had much success and I failed miserably. I was 22 and i had just had my first child. I remember the owner of the company at an event I attended taking my baby on stage with him and he was speaking of how they were going to change the world for our young ones so they would not have to want for anything in life.... You can only imagine all the excitement, dreams, and hopes that gave me being a young mom, and hearing someone who already had everything they wanted and needed saying that while holding my child with him on stage...

It was like i was already a millionaire but truth was I really wasn't anywhere close....

After failing and hearing everyone with their I told you so's and so on, it was time to move along. If you didn't start putting on that thick skin now, you better start doing so if you are planning on staying in the Network Marketing profession. Let me tell ya!!! If people weren't brutally honest already, they are sure going to be when you come to them with your new amazing idea and venture... They are going to tell you how they think it is, start running from you and also ignoring your calls... Right??? Have you experienced this??? This is rough but in the end can be so worth it!!!!

This takes thick skinned people along with a big passion and WHY to keep you motivated and rocking it!!!!

Point to be taken, Grow Thick Skin to handle hard prospects and keep moving forward! :)

Your Dreams Are Worth It!!!

Next, you must build a great Network...

Robert Kiyosaki wrote a saying once, ( No person is an island unto themselves.) Meaning, we can't thrive as one, we need others to help along the way. Successful people know what it takes to grow an outstanding business. They know how to hustle and they also know that this line of business isn't the 9-5:00, five days a week job. Staying up late or waking up early t make or take those phone calls are all parts of it, and you may have to attend conventions or conferences to keep you motivated as well....

The good news is, when it comes to network marketing it can be a lot of fun. Although it takes a lot of work to get up and running you come in contact with some pretty amazing people, make life long friendships, and you are helping people while growing your business along the way. It just takes growing thick skin and making it happen no matter what... Remember you are the one creating your dream!!!

Third thing to know....

Don't ever look to be praised, but in turn praise others...

If you are looking for constant praise as an entrepreneur you might as well go get a regular 9-5:00 job where you get reviews and one on ones with the boss. In the Network Marketing field it ain't happening. You are to be praising your team and lifting them up daily. Cheer them on! This is a team effort and you are to be leading your team. You are the one building this business and teaching them to do so with you.

As an entrepreneur you must have great self-confidence and always be self aware. The most successful ones are always confident in their decisions but also spend much needed time in-ward working on how to make themselves and their team/business even better. You have to constantly be working on yourself so you will have others wanting to go along with you. In saying this, you as a person, have to be genuinely passionate about helping others and giving praise instead of receiving it for ones self. The joy you get is watching your team grow and your business.

Then comes...

Ohh Yeah!!! Self-Motivation!!!

Here's a tough one for many, including my self at times.

Although I am a fairly busy person all the time, I sometimes slacked where focus really was needed. I was always worried about things that could be taken care of later rather than the task at hand. I worried what others thought if I didn't get a certain thing done that they thought should have been taken care of. I got older and got over what others thought. The dishes can wait till later right??? Yes they can...

Also when you are an employee you don't have a job if you don't go to work. We all know that... So it is much easier to just go to work. Being an employee motivates you to do your job because you don't want to lose it... Although going to work never was fun to me I did it till I learned a better way. As an entrepreneur you have to be very motivated to get your business up and running or you will fail miserably. Once its built though you can sit back and relax some but as they say " don't sit long because if you're not growin, business is dyin." It takes tons of self-motivation to keep your business growing and to keep up with the market changes... Is it worth it though? For Sure....

Which leads me to Finally...

Be Flexible!

Some of the best  entrepreneurs have to be able to play many roles as needed each day. You may need to be and accountant, manager, marketer, or make sales. These are all things that can pop up at any time. So to be a great entrepreneur you must learn how to be flexible and be the person that is needed when different things arise.

One great tool I learned about while growing this business is it doesn't have to be so hard. Not like it used to be. Being able to connect with so many like minds on the internet with social media platforms sure does help. It has definitely made this life style of being an entrepreneur a great.
