The Death Of Freedom In The Formerly Free World

Unless you've been living under a rock lately, you've seen the suspension of personal and business so-shill media accounts all over the interwebs.

It ain't gonna get any better.

It doesn't matter whether you agree with what a person or group is posting or not. Any outright stifling of opinion can only lead in one direction. Toward authoritarianism in one form or another.

I watched in disbelief as the world closed down and tyrants all over the globe restricted business and travel because you might catch a flu.

I was stunned by the people lining up to accept the obvious propaganda. Lies upon lies. When one was exposed, the powers that be either doubled down on it or ignored the criticism.

And when people started sharing information contrary to what your Lords and Masters wished to be known, the hammer came down swiftly and forcefully. 

Elected officials, world-renowned health professionals, and others at the tops of their fields have been silenced by Big Tech and so-shill media without regard to their credentials.

The only thing that matters is that they have offered an opinion in conflict to the crap pushed by those in power.

But we can fight back.

I'm not suggesting you go to war online, make yourself a target, and get yourself thrown off every site there is. 

What I'm saying is to oppose the sheep-think and consider differing viewpoints. Stick up for people and their right to express their opinion. And stand up for freedom of speech - especially if you disagree with what's being said.

All freedoms must be protected if we expect any of them to last. And your freedom is the other guy's freedom too. You don't enjoy freedom if anyone is oppressed.

What does that mean?

It means becoming as self-reliant as you can be. Start your own business, online or off. Doesn't matter what it is, as long as it can't easily be shut down the next time someone gets the idea that destroying your livelihood would be a good idea.

It's not as easy as getting another job, but it's much safer once you get it up and running.
