Technology is advancing every day and it affects us whether we are choose to be involved or not. Similarly, we expect money to be evolving technologically. Since we are in the digital world, we should be using digital money; but we are still using paper money. Although there are electronic transactions, these transactions are on paper money stored in digital form. The money we are using is 20th century money while we are in the 21st century. The result of this is high transaction costs and long periods of processing transactions. In addition, for someone to have a bank account or access money, they need certain documentation, such as, ID, proof of income and proof of residence. This leaves out a very large percentage of the population without a bank account and easy way to send or receive money. For you to keep your money, you need to pay for storage and when you want to access it, you also pay!

You can send or receive money to or from anyone in the world without the need of a bank or financial institution.
